For me, being faithful meant more than just showing up—it meant being consistent, reliable, and following through no matter what. It was about keeping my word, completing my responsibilities, and making sure others could count on me. Faithfulness isn’t flashy or celebrated; it’s quiet, steady, and unshakable.
As a convoy commander, being faithful meant carrying out every operation completely. It meant making sure precious supplies—fuel, ammunition, and food—reached the front lines, and that my men had everything they needed to accomplish their tasks effectively. Every detail mattered, because the mission’s success—and the lives depending on us—relied on our consistency and reliability. Personal comfort rarely factored into the equation. Long hours, harsh conditions, and uncertainty were constants. Yet even in that environment, the faithfulness of our team held us together.
