Welcome

This writing journey began quietly—with simple journal entries written during one of the most difficult seasons of my life. While walking through severe depression, journaling became a lifeline, a place to pour out my fears, questions, and prayers when words were hard to find.

In that season of despair, I began to notice something unexpected: God was faithful. Not distant. Not absent. Faithful. As I wrote, I sensed God gently prompting me to share what He was teaching me about His presence and faithfulness, even in the darkest valleys.

Those early journal entries eventually became my first book, Whispers of Hope. What began as a private act of survival became an invitation to testify—an offering of hope to others walking through their own difficult seasons.

This space exists to reflect on God’s faithfulness in every season of life—the good, the hard, and everything in between.

What You’ll Find Here

This space is a collection of reflections shaped by life, faith, and the quiet work of God over time. Here you’ll find:

Articles on encountering God through spiritual practices—reflections on habits that help us slow down, listen, and grow more attentive to God’s presence.

Letters to my godson, Luke—personal notes written with the hope of passing on wisdom, faith, and encouragement to the next generation.

Writings on the parallels between my time as a Marine and following Christ—lessons on discipline, obedience, calling, and perseverance learned in two very different worlds, yet shaped by the same God.

Lessons God has taught me across the seasons of life—through both the exciting milestones and the ordinary, often unnoticed moments where faith is quietly formed.

A Final Word

You’re welcome to read, linger, and return as often as you’d like. My hope is that somewhere in these reflections, you’ll be reminded that wherever you find yourself today, you are not alone—and that God is faithful through every season.
